Question:

Frosting tube? (HELP!)?

How can I make a frosting tube? You know, the stuff you put frosting in squeeze it out?I want it to come out thin kind of so I can write Welcome homeCan't you like put it in a regular plastic baggy? But how do I make a nozel for it to come out of?...I need one within the next half hour. I Cannot go to the store fir anything..HELP

Answer:

You dont need a nozel.. Just cut the corner according to how thick you want the letters to be...
you should buy tips for pastry bags...but, a tiny hole in the corner end of a heavy ziplock bag would work.... push the frosting to the corner and squeeze it down (make sure there are no air pockets)
Like everyone else has said : Ziplock bag. Put the frosting into the bag, close the bag. Snip off a bottom corner, and squeeze from the opposite corner.
you can put the frosting in a plastic baggie. sqeeze it all into one corner of the bag and snip the very tip of the corner off with scissors. the hole will act like a writing tip . Happy Decorating!
They are both right! I just suggest you use a freezer bag, they are sturdier. I've used regular bags before only to have the seams pop half way through. Good luck!
