Question:

Getting Tree Trimmed?

If I don't have any recomendations on a Tree Co trimming me tree, what are some of the things I should look for?

Answer:

It depends somewhat on the scope of the job you are thinking of ie; BIG trees heavily trimmed and over home/power, etcor just a little off the top If it's big the MOST important are bonded/ insured and a certified arboristMake sure you SEE and COPY their paperwork regarding thisFailure to do this could be catastrophic, as, they lay an 80' tree through your house, doing 100k worth of damage and have 10 k worth of insurance/no bondOther than that, years in the field, and references are good things to knowIf you are looking to do a major takedown (removal) espnear home, try to find a company with a crane or at least monster bucket truckClimbing and roping are fun to watch , but technology has advanced for a reasonOne last thing, do not let anyone tell you topping trees is okay and don't let them put sealant on cutoffs(where they took a lead/limb) Best of luck!
