Question:

gift for family friend preforming wedding ceremony?

Hello,I'm getting married june 19th!! I'm wondering what we should get as a thank you gift for our officiant who is a dear family friend. We are having the rehearsal dinner on 6/17 and that's when we plan to give our wedding party their gifts, our officant and his wife a gift and probably our parents a gift too. but we are stumped as to what to get for the family friends. they are retired, married for 14 years but together for about 15 i think. his health has not been the best so nothing he has to go out to go do. any suggestions? thanks!

Answer:

Shopping for men is hard. Maybe a dinner out and a small picture frame engraved?
Well if you know where they like to go out and eat. I would say get a nice card and a gift card to a restaurant ...but then they have to go out and do that. :)
Check okorder
Im not sure if they are religious are not, but my bridesmaid is a Christian and I got her a white Bible with a personal message engraved in gold on the front and on the back cover i got ours names. She loved it, it was something that meant alot to her, which she could keep as a reminder of the day! A little different
If it's too much for him to go out to dinner at a nice restaurant and/or the theater then you might want to fix a nice basket with a bottle of wine, some elegant snacks etc..... If he doesn't drink then you can put in a bottle of sparkling cider. I'd include some caviar, crackers, cheese, smoked oysters, nuts, pate etc... or what ever you think they might like.
