Question:

Gloves, riding breeches, half chaps, boots, safety vest - Do I need?

I will go riding lots this summer once I get my two ponies. (I'm buying a pony and my friend's dad made a deal with me so I get one of their ponies for the summer). No need to ask why I'm getting another pony if I have my friend's pony, well because then my dad, my sister and I could all go riding together. So anyways, I'm going to be riding Western English. I will start on jumps, trail riding, 4-H, pony club, barrel racing, and maybe gymkhanas. Should I buy :- Jeans for JUST riding?- Gloves for riding?- Riding breeches?- Half chaps? - English, tall black boots?- Safety vest just in case? Please no rude comments; just wondering so when I go out again, I can go and buy them since I have the money. Thanks,

Answer:

Why no head gear? Even pro fighters spare with head gear and its for good reason. You also don't say what type or weight of gloves so let me guess; they are 6oz MMA gloves or whats even worse MMA training gloves that are only 4 oz. Fighters generally don't spare with a 6 oz MMA glove unless its with control and when they want hard contact they are sparring with a 14-16 oz boxing glove. I doubt your friends or you have much in the way of control either and their mouth-guards will be the first to get left at home, left in their workout bags instead of being worn and someone will get some teeth knocked crooked or even knocked out maybe. That or a broken nose or maybe a fractured cheek bone and what about cups and supporters? Do you think kicks or punches never get knocked low or pushed down sometimes? Situations like what you are suggesting are just accidents waiting to happen and take my advice. Find a gym or school with good, professional instruction rather than wasting your time doing this and developing bad habits while running the risk of getting hurt.
Here's a tip: Don't do anything foolish, if you want to spar, go to a gym under professional supervision.
the best way to insert the connectors is by heating the pipe up with a torch or a lighter not to the point of melting but just until it is pliable insert the fitting and tighten the hose clamps immediately .This allows the softened piped to cool around the ridges of the coupling
