Question:

Going to a country music fest for 4 days camping - what to bring!?

I have never been to a country music festival before, and never been camping before :-0 yikesJust curious if you have any pointers for things to take along..Someone brought up a really good idea of ear plugs, which I didn't even think of!Anything else? Thanks in advance :)

Answer:

oohh bummer !! you should of got out some detergent and gave it a wash while the water was flowing, but seriously nothing would of been affected by the spray of water in the engine as it's all pretty water tight unless you chuck to whole car in a lake and then its finished. Get yourself a can of wd 40 spray and pop off the distributor cap if there is one in there and spray it every where inside the cap and over the hi tension leads that go from the distributor cap plugs to the spark plugs and then pop off the plugs on the ends of the leads that join the spark plugs and spray there as well. also replace the air filter it maybe full of water. WD 40 is a water dispersant and you should be able to start it with in 10 minutes
Get an oil change first! If there was any chance of the water getting into you lube system. Otherwise start it now. Went through a flood once, water got into the oil, motor seized up, new crankshaft, tears
Thats something i would have liked to have seen. Check for damage underneath the car first your exhaust is probably broken, cars are water resistant to a certain degree, has the water got inside the car? maybe leave it to the experts you will short everything if you try and start it now.
i think that if u need it anytime soon just use a leaf blower and just blow the water right out of it then after maybe 15 minutes you should try and start it if it still doesn't work then you should try and get if fixed as for the bumper just wait and see if you can run the car first b4 you even try to find a way to get it to the repair shop
I asked hardware store about using rolled roofing material, and they said, yeah, lots of people do that. I'm going to try it.much easier than replacing the whole lot.
