Question:

Going to upgrade a squire?

Hey I am a fairly experience guitar player and my first guitar was a squire bullet stratI have since obtained an Ibanez RGA32, as I was fairly into metal and hard rock when I got itSince then I have started loving The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton etcand have learnt several of their songs, but found my Ibanez had far too much gain, even when in clean on my MarshellSo to the pointI was looking at buying a Fender American Strat when it occured to me I could just upgrade my squireSo even though the woods would not be anywhere near the same quality, I can upgrade it to have hardware as good as, if not better than, that of a Fender stratI would change just about everything, leaving only the woodThe pickups, bridge, tuning machines, pots, strap pegs, even the pick guard, pickup selector and tone and volume knobs could be replacedSo I was wondering about what you guys think, whether an upgraded squire would be better, or an Fender strat.

Answer:

There are these shakes I cant remember the name right off the top of my head but there in the produce section at walmartthey are sooo good I love the chocolate one and the have 53g of fiber per severing, full of other vitamins and minerals, and taste great!
Carrots and sweet potatoes are about the highest in Vitamin A and also high in fiber.
Hello there, An upgraded Squier Bullet will sound like an upgraded Squier BulletBetter than stock, but like a Fender StratThe Bullet uses basswood for the bodyIt is less expensive than alder, but still all rightJackson and Ibanez use basswoodBut basswood does not sound like alderEvery little part in the Bullet is cheaper than its counterpart in the Fender StratFor instance, I recently used a new Bullet body in a project guitar (to get a daphne blue body)The 6 screws that hold the bridge and 2 claw screws are some light weight metalThey are thinner and shorter than the screws in a Fender StratI tried to put 4 tremolo springs in that bodyThe pull of 4 springs ripped those flimsy little screws out of the body and stripped out the holesI had to plug the holes with hardwood and then use Fender screws just to have 4 springs in the tremoloIt is that way all through the BulletSure the Bullet is as good as any other $120 guitar and better than mostBut it is not comparable to a Fender Strat There is an old saying that applies to this situiationYou cannot turn a sow's ear into a silk purseBy the time you replace the neck, the pickups, the pots and switch, the tuners, the bridge and all the screws, you will have more tied up in that project than if you just went out and bought a used Fender Standard Stratocaster (MIM)The MIM Strat is an excellent guitarUsed it sells for $200 to $300I recently bought a used MIM Strat in Lake Placid blue for $200I am aware you were talking about the Fender American Standard and I used a Fender Standard (MIM) Strat in my discussionBut it you cannot get close to the MIM Strat, getting close to the American Strat is a pipe dreamFor instance the string spacing on the American Strat is too wide to use on the BulletThe E strings will be too close to the edge of the neck to be playableBullet has 2 1/16ths string spacingAmerican Strat has 2 7/32ndsLater,
