Answer:

Even your surge protector is fried. If it's the kind that carries a guarantee, you can see if the manufacturer will replace the devices that were plugged into it. Or at least replace the surge protector. Talk to a licensed electrician about the cost of rewiring your house so it's lightning-proof. It's cheaper to replace all your appliances a few times. (And a direct strike on the power line coming into your house will still damage things. The tiny percentage of voltage drop across 3 feet of wire - when you're dealing with a few million volts - is enough to destroy almost anything.) Totally protecting electrical devices from all lightning is a myth - it can't be done.
Spray them with oven cleaner. There is a type that is made for self cleaning ovens that you can also use on pans. Since they advertise it for use on pans as well it probably isn't as harsh. If you use some regular oven cleaner it will work great but make sure you wear rubber gloves to protect your hands and keep the kitchen well ventilated.
If they are made of steel, put them in your oven through a cleaning cycle - if your oven has an auto-clean feature. Very easy, and it works. I also do this with my cast-iron skillets when they become too coated or lose their seasoning. But if they are aluminum, they might melt in the super-heat of a cleaning cycle.
