Question:

Got a ticket for parking too close to a fire hydrant..Riverside County, CA?

Ok my roomate got her car towed yesterday for parking too close to a fire hydrant. I called her to see how it was going and yesterday the Police Dept. said all she had to do was pay the fine at the station, they'd give her a slip to take to the towing yard and she'd have to pay towing fees and daily storage fees to get her car out.Well now she called and told me she has to wait till 2:30 for a call from Sacramento DMV?? I tried to get the whole story to see if I could help her out but shes so annoyed and upset I couldn't get it out of her. Anyone have any clue as to what the heck she is talking about??

Answer:

It is noted often in Greek and Roman mythology that belief in the gods is what makes them real and gives them their power. By that logic, yes, and I believe that they are still there.
They make a black PEX for specifically designed for gas.
Some security cameras see pretty well in the dark and use IR but not like what your talking about. Usually they have an IR bulb built in. Some camcorders have a night mode with IR, but the range is limited.
Well in this day and age we have a bad habit of calling anything that isn't backed up by some guy in a labcoat wearing safety goggles mythology. The Ancient Greeks like many pre-Christian people were fiercely pragmatic, they invented the computer (around 500BC), the steam engine, trains, geometry, they revolutionised music, mathematics, astronomy, navigation and science, they never did anything with a reason and indeed prided themselves on their reason and logic. If they saw a reason to worship the gods of Olympus then there probably was a reason and one that stood up to the scepticism and questioning of the Greek mind. That said the Olympian gods have never spoken to me or revealed anything of themselves for that matter to me so I can't say with any certainty if they exist or not although I find it hard to doubt it. I hold to the belief that each tribe has it's own gods and they're more than real enough to that tribe but less so to others.
well, that would be way cooler than the mythical christian god we are all supposed to believe in now
