Question:

Grease stain on woven rug (due to Bissell fiber cleansing cleaner). Any suggestions?

We have pets, and my dog had an accident on my rug. I trusted that the Bissell Carpet Cleaner and the spray that comes with it (quot;Fiber Cleansingquot;) would clean it. Instead, it made this grease like stain. I tried using Dawn and after scrubbing for hours the stain remained the same. Any suggestions on getting rid of it?I'm extremely mad and want to contact Bissell, but I would like to see if there's some effective way of removing the stain. And also, what do I do about it if I can't remove the stain? Should I write a letter or an email, and if so, what do I say or demand?

Answer:

woven rug Is this a hand made rug? If so the colors may have run. As for Bissell, I have used their products for years and never had a problem. Of course, i read the warnings and disclaimers like test on a small area first. These machines were designed for standard carpeting. I know you don't want to hear this, but if this is a hand made rug, the fault is yours.
i exploit a purifier referred to as pink skill on mine, spray it on, or if the stain is undesirable, pour slightly on, then use a sturdy stiff brush and scrub it particularly sturdy. Rinse it sturdy, take a seat out interior the solar enable it dry. It has no bleach in it , it in basic terms is going immediately for the grease or oil.
