There's colored bedding on the market now. Is it safe? It's the same brand I always use just dyed different colors. I have been using the non dyed brand for about a year and kayda hasn't had any isues with it. It's the only bedding I've ever given to her. Any suggestions?
better stick with what you have your hamster is more used to it and there is no need to switch better be safe than sorry
Yes, I think it is safe. Maybe the only thing that would happen is it might rub onto your hamster, and change your hamsters hair colour a bit? I'm not 100% sure that will happen, but it's a possibility. But just make sure to stay away from cedar or pine bedding, which is harmful to your hamster. Hope I helped! (:
Dyed bedding is just fine for them, just as safe as normal bedding. Just don't use pine or cedar. The best bedding is the, well...Im not sure how to explain it. The brand is something like Cozy Comfort, but they have different ones. That's just the kind I used to get my hamster. But anyway, just stay away from pine.
stick with what you are using, my hamster tried to eat the dyed type
Is it the fluffy stuff? My boyfriend uses it with his Gerbils and they are fine so I'd say go for it.
