what is the best type of hamster bedding??? pictures and links to the product are appreciated
Aspen shavings are the best. Do NOT but pine or cedar bedding because they are known to cause breathing problems in hamsters. Do NOT buy those cotton fluffy things because they are stringy and can cause injury. Also, shred some clean, unscented, plain tissue paper and put it in your hamsters cage. They like to chew on it and gather it around their sleeping area. I usually stuff some tissue in my bra first so that my scent is on it so that when I put it in their cage they can get accustomed to my scent.
