do you perfer wood floor or carpet for a bedroom... i have wood but i think i want carpet?
I had maple hardwood floors before i remodeled and now carpet. I can't seem to figure out the same question. Maybe hardwood with a nice oversized throw rug under the bed next time. Call me girly but i like the feel of carpet when i get out of the bed but the look of hardwood can't be beat and it's easier to clean.
I would stick with the hardwood flooring and get a rug for the area. This will allow a better look, plus the ability to change the look of the room quickly and easily when you want. Besides, carpet is basically disposable, stains and gets dirty, no matter how much you get is cleaned. The hardwood floor is easier to keep and clean. If you cover the floor then change your mind later, you might have to do something to the hardwood floor to bring it back. The area rug will provide the warmth and texture/softness you are seeking.
carpet. in case you fall off the bed. no joking but its nice to have that comforable feeling.
defiantly carpet for bedroom. i had hardwood through out house and recently got carpet in bedrooms and its almost a luxury now when you step out onto it from the cold hardwood
