This happened to me at Rapid Refile in Pa by a office worker. This girl did this to others as well.
Hot water bottle (heat up the water on a fire or gas stove) wrapped in a blanket and place under bed, maybe get a battery powered heating pad and place it where he can't chew? My friend had the same problem last year, and she used the hot water bottle! Good for you for thinking ahead! P.S: line her cage with fleece on the inside and cover it with a blanket to preserve warmth.
By far the easiest way would be to use a Bandsaw.
