Question:

has anyone tried dumping T-Discs into My K cup?

ok I recently got a keurig and I chose it over tassimo because I can still use my normal canned coffee if I run out of discs however the t discs are cheaper where I live and they have some blends keurig doesn't offer that I like so I was wondering if anyone has tried opening t discs and dumping them into a my k cupI haven't been able to find the details of the inside of t discs and buying a whole pack to just open one is not vey logical to me so any help would be amazing

Answer:

It doesn't explode - it just gets very, very hot and may get hot enough (red hot or more) to damage the components of the oven that do not get overheated when food it cooked - seals, wheels, and plastic linings Metal bowls and plates as in your image prevent the food on them from being heated while overheating themselvesSmall metal objects - forks and steel wool - can focus the microwaves and produce sparks or flame and smoke out and ruin a microwave very quickly.
the micro waves reflect off the metalit's not good but it's not that big of a deal in my opnionMetal will not explodeThe reflecting waves might cause sparks and the microwave to blow out but it's not going to cause an explosion.
I refill my own k cups just use aluminum foil over the old k cup used my own filter and it tastes great using my own coffee the reusable kcup filter is okay but prefer to was out the coffee let it dry and refill the old k cup then take aluminum foil seel it over the cup and presto your own k cup
