Question:

Has anyone tried the Brown Rice Diet (cleanse)?

im in desperate need of a cleanse right now I've done the master cleanse a couple times a year and i think i want to try something newhas anyone heard of the brown rice diet? all you can eat is veggies fruit and brown riceits supposed to be cleansing because of the high fiberdoes it sound like it would work?

Answer:

Normally a 2x6 wall would use r-19 insulationWhy the code would call for an insulation the is not designed for the application does not make senseR-24 is designed for floor and ceilingsBy compressing 10'' thick insulation into a 5 1/2'' space takes away from the way it insulates.
Both batt and cellulose are good for R3.13 per inchA 2x6 is actually 1.5x5.5 so 3.13 x 5.5 R17.22, so no, a 2x6 wall can not accommodate R24For R24 one would need a 7.66 wall cavityWhat some don't realize is that R-Value is based on thickness of materialIf one crams R19 batt in to a 2x4 wall, you would only have a R-Value of 10.95A 2x6 has the R-Value of 6.88
This is not the answer you are looking for but there may be some other techniques for spraying the celluloseSee the website below to determine if this will work for you.
Brown rice contains a high amount of fiber which is excellent for cleansing the colonIn your intestine it acts like a pipecleaner, grabbing nasty toxins like pollutants, chemicals, pesticides, heavy metals on its way throughFor the cleanse to work you must use organic brown rice, cooked very thoroughly to make it easier to digestSoak the rice for for at least 25-30 minutes, overnight if you can, to really soften the bran layer on the rice grainThis is a very high fiber diet, with considerable flexibility on what you eat as long as you stick to the correct fruits, vegetables and brown riceStick to it for 7 days and you'll get some great resultsThere are no specific restrictions on portion sizes, but try to eat only until you feel 80% fullChewing the rice slowly will help as this slows down the eating process and allows your body to tell you that you are fullFresh fruits, except bananaHerbs and spices such as garlic, chili peppers, cilantro, ginger, parley, onionsA small amount of extra virgin olive oil or flaxseed oil can be used with the veggies and riceFreshly squeezed juices, hot lemon tea with ginger, fresh mint tea, uncaffeinated herbal teasFresh vegetables, except corn and mushroomsThey can be eaten raw, lightly steamed or oven bakedNo frozen or canned food is allowedHope I helped and good luck!!
