Has anyone went on a high fiber diet and lost weight??

I am looking to start a high fiber dietBut just not a diet anew way of eating!!! I am wondering if anyone has ever lost weight from a high fiber diet, and if so how much!!! also what were you eating and how many grams of fiber did u eat a day! did you eat more than 3 meals a day? Did you use metamucil??

Almost a month ago I started watching what I eat because I wanted to lose weightI stared eating whole grains with alot of fiber and fiber one bars for a snackI also eat 5 times a day(small portions) and drink lots of water (8-10 cups per day) almost a month later and I've lost 10lbsI never thought I could lose weightGood Luck!
Put fish in baking pan and squeeze a little lemon on itGive it a little rub to get it all overMelt a little butter in a frying pan and mince a few cloves of garlic in it (not to cook the garlic-just kind of lubrication for the garlic as it tends to gt sticky) pour that over fish and give it a little rub to evenly distributeTownhouse butter flavored crackers-roll a rolling pin over them to make fine crumbsPut more butter in your frying pan and toss the crumbs around o toast them a littlesprinkle over fisha little more butter in the pan to toast some sliced almonds-sprinkle over fishBake 20 minutes at 350My ex affectionately named this Delicious Fish.
4-6 cod fillets, cut into 1 1/2 chunks 1 cup plain yogurt 1/4 cup olive oil 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated 2 teaspoons ground cumin 2 teaspoons ground coriander 1 teaspoon red pepper 1 teaspoon tumeric 1 teaspoon salt and it doesnt matter how much fish you eat a week if it is safeIn other words if the fish doesn't have high contents of mercury in them, depends where your getting your fish.
if you eat too much fish you might turn into one.
