help 2007 dodge charger wiring harness?

hi my 2007 dodge charger wiring harness is messed up some wires burnt out caused by the lighter volt. there are trying to charge so much the delarship wants to charge about 3500 which i dont have right now but i already rmoved all the seat and everything is it possible to fix myself or any advice i called a lot of places but they are all too much is there a way to repair it not replace just enough where its okay to turn it in for a trade in ? helpp please

Repairing electrical problems is a nightmare, especially on newer vehicles. Even if you replace all the burned wires there's still the possibility of a destroyed BCM so electrical testing would have to be done. Electrical wiring will not always show failure from the outside, burned or discolored insulation, there may be melted wiring inside that insulation. Probably the easiest but not necessarily the cheapest route to go would be to acquire a new harness and go from there. The new harness could be totally new or purchased from a salvage yard but be sure it's for the same year, model car and same equipment. This is a very labor intensive job.
