RE :Full coverage car insurance claim HELP! Coverage issues for Broken Rim? The Details: Two weeks ago, i was driving on highway 80 (California) and i hit some uneven pavement, which caused my tire to pop, as a pull over to the side of the road my rim broke off of the studs and ended up on the other side of the freeway(My rear passenger wheel). I called my insurance (have full coverage) and they are covering all of the damages caused by this incident. However here is what i need help with: The Damages: The rim was deemed bent, broken and unrepairable. The rim i had on my car (2004-2007 Nismo S-Tune Rims) is not made anymore, so my claim rep said I have two options either they can give me an OEM rim and wheel, or they can cash me out for the rim ($260). Originally I told her i would take the money so i can buy a new rim, however i could not find my rim used one online, so i told her i would like the OEM wheel so they can do the alignment also (which is necessary bc of the damages). The claim rep then said the alignment cannot be done if i have 1 OEM rim and 3 aftermarket rims because they are different sizes. The issue Should the insurance be giving me more money towards my purchase of new rims for my car? I feel like i am being short changed here. I am being given $260 dollars for my rim, however it will be around $1000 for the rims alone (to get some similar to the ones i had before) My understanding was that the insurance company is suppose to return my car to me as it was before the accident. Please shed some light on my issue and help me out. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Follow 6 answers
Dude, i wholeheartedly suggest wearing gloves when doing ANY bagwork, even if its just speedbags (a whole lot of handwraps is also applicable for speedbags but gloves are still better). No sense maximizing the wear and tear of your hands by doing bare knuckle training. Its better to err in the side of safety.
to keep him warm :) no, the same reason you chuck sand on a fire or stomp on it. it basically suffocates the fire. fire needs oxygen to burn, if you stick a cup over a candle it would go out because there is no oxygen. so by throwing a blanket on top kind of suffocates the fire out in a large area.
