Help i have a question about braking on a motorcycle.!! ?

so lets say im on second gear then i have to suddenly stop. how do i get on second gear back again after i had stopped.?? i know i have to put it on first gear again in order to take off my question is how do i do that. Can i put the bike on first gear while holding on to the clutch and break at the same time.??

Answer:

properly the front brake is a minimum of 70 p.c. of your combating ability. humorous element is I experience an olschool chopper without front brake and have not have been given any difficulty combating. whether in case you merely use the rear brake do no longer lock it up using fact the rear of the motorbike will slide out to the superb! Im engaged on a twin disk rear brake and which will sparkling up this difficulty and make me a set of money.
Oh dear: Let's just start up the Yahoo! Answers Online Motorcycle School. It's green! Never mind the weather! No helmet or protective gear required! No need for those pesky shoulder checks! Did I mention that it's green? Who thinks this is a good way to learn? And, of those, who wishes to take on the responsibility/liability? EDIT: Do I have a valid point here, or am I becoming a grouch?
Just clutch and brake. Once you are stopped down shift back into first. If you are braking quickly you don't need to downshift while braking.
