Question:

Help with Silencer Car Alarm!?

I have a 01 Dodge Intrepid with a Silencer Car Alarm. Lately it‘s been setting off the alarm randomly when nobody touches the car and it‘s locked. If I don‘t lock it, it will automatically lock itself after time, or arm itself. How do I get it to stop setting off the alarm by itself? I have a valet switch bit I don‘t know what that does, if it should be on or off and how to turn it on or off. Help! The neighbors are getting cranky!

Answer:

start at 30 (cold) and keep a eye out on the tires and work your way up, the sidewalls should be flat on the ground but not sagging, if yuou put in to much air then the tires riding on the centers and thats not what you want. get it?
If the max pressure on the tire says 44psi, then you are fine if you have40-42 psi. The tire pressure will go up when the tires are warmed up during driving, however they will go back down when they cool down.
Go with what your vehicle manufacturer recommends: 30 psi The maximum on the tire is just the physical limit of what the tire can safely be inflated to, it has nothing to do with the optimal pressure for your vehicle. The tire maker has no idea what vehicle you own or how much the vehicle weighs.
Alarms brands have different settings, suggest you request users guide from alarm dealer.
