i was at a consignment shop and i bought this dressbin/dynamic/product.cgi?frame=main&size=3&floatsize=3&style_number=7405292&color=RICHPLUMin the plum colour and i don't know how to wash it because the washing "recommendations" tag was cut out the website says that the dress is 85% cotton and 15% cashmerecan you reccommend how to wash it??

Answer:

Take it to a dry cleaner. That will fit your barbie doll if you try and wash it!
I would wash it in cold and then reshape and lay flat to dry. If you have any doubts dont hesitate to take it to a dry cleaners and they can either clean it for you or tell you what to do
Take it to your dry cleaner. They will be able to tell you if it is safe for dry cleaning, or if you can had wash it at home. If they do say it is OK to be dry cleaned, that's the way I would go if it was my dress. Very cute, by the way!
Hi I would get a bucket and put in 1/4 scoop of your washing powder or you might need less; dissolve it then put in cold water put in the dress and pull up and down until all wet leave for 10 mins then go and give it a little hand wash then ring out and empty water out then put in water again and rinse the dress, then you can either go out to clothes line and just hang it up and let it drip dry or wring it out shake the dress then hang it up. Give that a go. good luck
Wash it like you wash wool, by hand in slightly warm water in the bathroom sink or a basin. Use a good quality soap for wool. Put it in the water with the soap and press on it, don't rub or twist, just keep squishing it gently. Should only take a few minutes. Let it drain, refill the sink with slightly warm water again, repeat the squishing. Let it drain in the sink till it's damp, then spread it flat a towel or two and let it dry there. Change the towels if they get too damp. Since the dress is plum coloured it will probably bleed colour so use darker towels or ones you don't care about.
