Most stables hand breed (mare tied or held and the stud on a lead) or do Artificial insemination. It is too much of a risk to put a mare and stud that are not familiar with each other out on pasture together, one or both may get hurt A mare is most fertile in the last 24 hours of her heat cycle, so they usually breed the mare at least every other day until the end of her cycle since sperm usually lives for 48 + hours. Most stables charge a mare care of $10 to $15 per day.. this may also vary if the mare has a foal at her side already (wet mare care), if they do not (dry mare care) it is usually cheaper. The amount of the stud fee depends on the bloodlines, the horses looks, personality, and show records I paid $1000 two years ago for a GREAT stud (Leaguers Shadow).. which was a huge markdown for him but without a great show record I probably wouldn't pay over $500, it all depends! Do you own the stud that we are talking about??

Internet, Television has been outrageous you could basically do anything, see anything or even say anything it's not safe at all. The only thing that I can say to you is put a block on the computer or phone child safety protection that way when ever she want's to use the computer or phone she has to go through you and hope for the best, but it's everywhere. IN school with friends, in the T.V and there's not much we can do about. I mean you could always talk to her and tell her that you disapprove of her doing that or anything close to that, I mean I don't know what more I can say about this, I'm so sorry that you had to see that with your sister.
