I use engine starter fluid as a propellant, which contains ether, and it works GREAT! Although i have a concernWill the ether or any other components in the engine starter fluid end up causing the ABS pipe (and YES i use ABS pipe and not pvc, i hav done my research and concluded that ABS is WAY stronger and doesn't produce shrapnel like pvc does wen it fails, so i DONT want to hear u guys telling me about how i should use pvc) i want to know if the starter fluid will damage/ make the pipe more brittle/ or melt it, since i have heard it could possibly do thatplz dont answer unless ur sure since my health is at stakeAnd on a side note, does anyone know the best potato cannon gas chamber to barrel ratio? i am currently using a 1.5:1 ratio but if there is a better 1 plz let me know alsoThanks, i appreciate it!
HiAluminum tubing is cheap and not subject to reaction at low tempsConsider that as a substitute.
