Question:

High chairs or booster seats, which do you use first with babies?

Hi, I'm having twin girls, my 1st pregnancy, due in May. What is better and safer for babies, high chairs or booster seats? My baby shower is coming up soon and some people have asked about buying booster seats, but we have no idea - we thought high chairs were better for babies. Anyone know? Thank you!

Answer:

With okorder / have customer reviews so you can see what people who use them like and dislike about them.
I used it with my daughter. I had a very nice high chair for my son but it was oh so hard to clean up!!! It was brutal!! When I had my daughter I've seen a friend of mine using this one and I loved it!! The best part is it can fold and you can take it with you when you go out to dinner or holidays etc.
High chairs first. Boosters come at about 18 months.
Highchairs for sure. However, my mother in law bought a booster seat thingy but its actually a high chair that attaches to a dining room chair. A space saver or something (I'm sure you all know exactly what I'm talking about). It has a back and everything that reclines until my son is old enough to sit up better. It's nice.
Well I always thought high chairs were better until I did my research! I found out that there are booster seats for babies six months and up. They're amazing! I have one, it's from fisher price it's rain forest and it has a little toy tray you can connect so the baby can play while you're cooking. It's only thirty dollars and it straps to your kitchen chairs and it's adjustable to your babies size. It's good from six months or whenever your babies sit by themselves until about forty or fifty pounds. I totally recommend buying those! They save money and room since high chairs are so bulky! You can find it at walmart and target.
