Question:

High-fiber diet for Dibetics?

Why does a higher fiber diet help my blood sugar levels? I've been adding fiber in my drinks for 3 wks now and have cut my insulin intake by 40%! I love the fact that it's helping, but why? I'm type 1, and all I can information on is type 2.

Answer:

go ahead but im sure that hook up is going to be just u, ur hand and the aluminum condom rubbing together
Yes you can but only if you also wear a aluminum foil hat and do it on the roof.
I have use it as a condom, but I stopped because the crinkling and crackling noise drove me crazyIt sounded like the bed was on fire.
ouch! ah, the old replacement trick instead of going out and buying yourself a darn condom! next time i suggest a plastic bag or towel eveni wonder what a aluminum foil baby looks like? jk.
As with cholesterol, soluble fiber traps carbohydrates to slow their digestion and absorptionIn theory, this may help prevent wide swings in blood sugar level throughout the dayAdditionally, a new study from the Harvard School of Public Health, published in the Feb12 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association, suggests that a high-sugar, low-fiber diet more than doubles women's risk of Type II (non-insulin-dependent) diabetesIn the study, cereal fiber was associated with a 28 percent decreased risk, with fiber from fruits and vegetables having no effectIn comparison, cola beverages, white bread, white rice, and french fries increased the risk.
