Question:

House plumbing. Cresline Flowguard CPVC piping lifespan. I read good and bad things about it.?

A news channel in Houston, TX had a lady who had her CPVC pipes leaked after 14 years. Plumbers were saying good and bad things about it. Is it a good pipe as long as it is installed properly?

Answer:

its ok for the price but ur not going to get a decent aeg for under 90$ so i guess if it was ur first time it would be okay but it wont last long and u wont really be one of the guys ppl want to have on their team if u buy that stuff cuz its cheaply made and will break easily but idk it might be ok for ur first match
Get one of the new fire alarms. It has a siren and then you record your voice on it and say what it tells you to on the paper. Your say your childs name and say wake up this is mommy dont be scared there is a fire in the house get out side and go to our meeting spot. and it repeats it. There is a practice botton. You first talk with you son and think of a meeting place out side far enough away from the house so if there is a fire he cant get hurt from it. Like a tree or something. Then you go out side and show him the spot. Then you do some role playing. Have your son get in his bed and pretend to sleep then you push the practice button on the smoke detector and see if he remembers what to do. Do it over and over to make sure he knows. Then I would pratice it every few weeks so it stays fresh in his mind. Make it fun like a game and he will love doing it. My niece and nephew ask to do it all the time. Also get some books about fires and firemen. Get a picture of a fire fighter with all of his gear on and explain to him that if he sees someone in a mask like that, that he should go to them because they are firemen and there to help him. So if he sees a fire fighter he will not be afraid of them. You could also do a trip to the local fire station they are usaly more then happy to put the fire gear on for small children and letting them try it on them self. I hope this helps some and good luck! Oh yeah you can get one of those smoke detectors at walmart thats where we got ours!
Ok well i have 2 twins both 6monthes old and a four year old gurl and well i teach all my children at four years old to stop drop and roll and then six monthes after their 4 i tell them to crawl below smoke in a burning building.
It's great that you are so concerned about this. Many parents are like your husband and have the It won't happen to me syndrome. As a teacher in the Head Start Program, I can speak from experience. At three years old, a child can be taught about fire safety. You just have to put it in words they can understand. And don't give them information that will scare them. Go over an escape route, what to do if clothes catch fire, what a firefighter will look like with full gear on, and the importance of getting out and not hiding from the firefighters. Call your local fire department. A lot of communities have smoke houses that help children understand the importance of getting out in the event of a fire. Also call local childcare centers. In my state, we normally cover fire safety around the beginning of October. I am sure there is a childcare center in your area that would be willing for you and your child to participate in activities dealing with fire safety. Many have fire departments bring the trucks and equipment to the centers. Hope this helps! And I would definitely start asap with this!
try bringing him into a place where theres fire and if he goes up to it say no very bad and nody and let him first figure that out then after he gets the point that its dangorous and then tell him and say if you see something like this tell mommy and then here is what i will do and then explain it to him in a way he will understand!
