How can a man die without drowning in water?

Answer:

Heart attack, aneurysm, diabetic shock... the answers to this question as endless...
He could ask a really dumb question on Yahoo! Answers and get ridiculed to death.
He could fall off a cliff, get electricuted or even burn in a fire, though I think heart attack is the most common
There is a rare happening where when cold water hits the vocal chords/larynx, the water causes it to swell up and effectively seal off the airway/lungs/everything. Therefore no water gets in - however, no air does either. Instead of drowning, they suffocate. It's also called dry drowning. I think that's what you were asking? If not just ignore my answer!
a man can die in a silo of grain..... if he is on the top of a silo full of grain ... and he falls in ... he will sink like he's in quicksand .. and the grain will fill his lungs and he will die.. also contributing to his death would be possible crushing
