I am trying to cancel my Virgin Mobile account because I am planning on selling that phone. I have already gotten a new phone and the VM one has just been sitting around. I tried calling 1-888-322-11-22 but I don't know where to go from there.

Virgin Mobile is a prepaid service. That means if you don't pay your bill at the end of your billing cycle it automatically cancels and closes your account. You do not need to contact them. There are no fees if you cancel or don't pay your bill. Your service would be terminated and your account will be closed. So after that you can just sell your phone. When the person buys your used phone they would have to reactivate the phone and have a new phone number and account.
