How can I make a dome shaped cake with layers?

Answer:

if he isn't clipped in winter then i dont think u need one
That blanket looks good to meEven if he isn't clipped, if he's underweight living in negative temps plus he used to get blankets in a stall I'd say definitely give him a blanket, at least until you beef him up P
It looks like a good blanket, but if your horse isn't clipped in the winter he should grow a winter coat to protect himself naturally What breed is he? Some horses (arabs, TB) don't grow a winter coat as well and need a little help sometimes As long as you let his coat do its natural thing, feed plenty of hay, and provide adequate wind shelter he should be fine with out a winter blanketEdit- Horses are BUILT to live outside in the winter, and that means with negative temperaturesThey are built to adjustAs long as you have a shelter provided and the roughage, he will be fineIts easy to worry about a horse you love, but he will be okay.
I looked at the picture, then forgot where your question was, and like to have never found it againLOL From looking at it, the bottom is a flat sheet cakeUse a deep aluminum bowl for the large dome ( color the mix red/pink )When it is cool, and chilled, cut out the middle portion, to fit a small sized bowl, in which you have baked a plain yellow cakeChill all cake pieces very cold, so they will be easier to work withBe sure to cut off any high parts of the cake, after you have put the 2 middle pieces together)from baking, so the bottoms will be level when you invert themAs stated, cut out the middle of the larger oneInvert the smaller one on flat surface - covered with some confectioners sugar (to make moving it easier) and frost itCarefully sit the smaller one inside the hole you have made in the big oneTurn both- together, at the same time, and place in the middle of the flat bottom layerComplete icing the outsides as neededSure hope this helps - I have baked a lot of cakes, and this is what I'd doGood luck !
