How come Kanye West's song gold digger was a nominee for the 06 vma's if he preformed in the 05 vma's?

Ugh. Because its MTV. They dont care about new music, they only care about ratings. They will put anyone and anything up to make sure they get ratings. If the song, from 2005 was a big hit, then why not put it up again? What else is there? And, good music is really required. They just need people to watch, and come. And one way to get that, is to get 50 cent there. Who knows who he will diss next... Window shopper was not a good song. It is not a good song. It is terrible and i do not see how it was nominated as many times as it was (for different award shows). Its horrid.
because this years award shows will be about music extending from the previous year in to earlier this year thats just how award shows are..he preformed it last year because it was his present single out when those awards were taped
