Question:

How come my keyboard isn't working?

I unplugged my usb mouse and replaced it with the green plug mouse. When I plugged the usb mouse back in the key board is on but I try to type it isn't responding. What should I do? Hurry please!

Answer:

Your PS/2 mouse is not plug and play but your usb one is, you might want to plug the mouse in when the unit is off and turn it back on, see if this fixes it! Or unplug the unit for 1 min then plug it back in with the new mouse pluged in. You might try going into bios and enable plug and play mouse or enable PS/2 mouse. Le t us know if this works. if your keyboard was connected by PS2 not usb then i think you have to restart your computer because the keyboard configuration got initilized in the boot menu only THNX ~Regards~ UAEDragon

USB Keyboard: 1. Try your keyboard on another PC?. 2. Check the USB keyboard. if any broken in the cable path?. 3. Check the USB interface between the Keyboard and your PC?. 4. Try another USB interface on your keyboard. 5. reboot and try the following steps. Bestman
plug everything in a proper connection/place and reboot your computer
