Question:

how could i cut plastic?

im making a shape on the plastic but dont know how to cut the shape any idea of how could i cut the shape in the hard plastic

Answer:

If you are trying to cut rigid plastic, like for a window, and you have a Skillsaw, put a plywood blade in BACKWARDS and proceed to cut. By doing that, the plastic will have a nice clean cut with no chipping. Just a word to the wise; when asking a question, be more specific and tell what you are attempting to accomplish. There are many good people that are willing to take the time to help you out.
Depending on how hard: scissors, X-acto knife, tin snips/aviator shears, or a saw. The X-acto or saw will give you the most precision cuts.
Depending on your definition of hard plastic an X-acto knife or box cutter will allow for precision cutting of detailed images.
Cut Plastic
Depends on the thickness of the material and the type of plastic you have. A thin polycarb can easily be cut with scissors but if you try it with a acrylic it has a good chance of shattering. For thicker plastic as mentioned a saw will work. I use a fine tooth saw blade and try to run it at a slower speed. For cutting shapes I've found that a band saw works the best for me. But a jig saw will work good too. If you don't have either one of these a coping saw will work nicely too.
