Question:

How do I connect my cable box and computer to my LCD monitor?

I have a Samsung Sync Master 2032NW LCD Monitor. We have Verizon FiOs cable TV and I have an eMachines T3506 computer. The Samsung Sync Master only has one connection for anything to connect to, other than the power port. The connection needs a 15-pin cable to connect to. I would like to connect my computer and my FiOs cable box to the screen so it will be a TV/Computer.Is there a 15-pin cable that splits into two ways that I can get?I'm only a bit tech savvy, so please try to dumb things down a bit. Thanks in advance for the help.

Answer:

Books transform your grammar, reading level, spelling, vocabulary, and tend to be more educational than T generally.V.
Typically I read 4 -5 books a week. But when there is something good on TV then I will watch it certainly
yes, there is a VGA splitter cable. No, it cannot connect to a cable box. You must have a tv tuner card or TV USB to watch tv on a computer monitor.
u ned a cable thats properly suited with the two one in all ur video demonstrate and comp see the plug and verify in the event that they r the comparable examine the serial and go purchase it then ull decide on some element that i dono how its called in english even though if it makes the cable in 2 a sort of adapter that duals the cable then u could have no problems
That monitor is not good for hooking up to Fios. Your Fios receiver box has an HDMI output capable of displaying High-Definition programming at 1080i. That's 1920x1080 resolution. You can only connect that HDMI output to a display that has an HDMI or DVI port. There are no TV tuner/capture cards that can decode the QAM-encrypted high-definition TV channels like CNN HD, Discovery HD, HBO HD, etc. If you use that you will have to stick with regular low-definition. Your best bet is to upgrade to an HDTV or monitor that has HDMI.
