Question:

How do I &contact my system administrator&?

When I try to get into the control panel or add/remove programs I get this restrictions message stating that This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. And I have no idea what to do. And this program called WinAntiSpyware 2007 is wreaking havoc on my computer, messing with files and slowing down my internet. What do I do?

Answer:

solder shark bite fittings and such can leak over time do to vibrations and movements of your house but if you dont know how to sweat pipe use the shak bite fittings they will last for a good while
You can solder or use Compression Fittings. These are the type of fittings that are tightened with spanners, if you are unsure about soldering joints.
I would not use the push-in fittings inside a wall I presume you mean the Sharkbite fittings. Sweat soldering is the best way to go. There are two secrets to sweat soldering that are very important - (1) the area to be soldered must be very clean, steel wool or wire brush and flux, and (2) you must use enough heat on the fitting to make the solder flow properly. Improper cleaning and not enough heat will be sure to cause a joint failure.

The piping will be copper, and you're only inquiring about the fittings? I would solder the fittings, assuming you know how to solder, or take the time to learn. Soldering is a time-proven method of joining copper pipe. I still see joints that I soldered over 35 years ago. I don't know the life-span of the relatively new sharkbite o-rings. They might be wonderful. We can revisit the question 35 years from now.
