How do I correctly install mass flow meters?

How do I correctly install mass flow meters?

Answer:

In order to ensure the use of the flow sensor will not accumulate gas or liquid residual value, for the elbow type flowmeter, measuring liquid, the bend should be downward, measuring the gas, the bend should be upward. Measurement of slurry or discharge liquid, the sensor should be installed in a vertical pipe, the flow from bottom to top. For the straight pipe type flow meter, the horizontal installation shall be avoided at the highest point, so as to avoid air mass storage. When connecting sensors and process pipelines, be sure to do no stress installation, especially for some straight tubular measuring tube flow sensor should pay more attention.
In order to prevent the interaction between the CMF, on more than one meter used in series or in parallel, the flow sensor distance should be far enough, and support pipe shall be installed separately in their respective independent basis.
The flow sensor shall be mounted on a solid foundation. A small bore mass flowmeter with an inner diameter of less than 10mm, mounted on a hard and non vibrating bottom, such as walls, floors, or specialized foundations. If in high vibration environments, attention should be paid on the basis of the vibration absorption, and the sensor is connected with the pipeline import and export application of flexible pipeline; large caliber flowmeter installed directly in the pipeline, and the application of pipe supports will flow firmly.
