Question:

How do I fix a car alarm thats not making noise after an attempted theft?

This morning we woke up to find a broken window. Nothing out of the vehicle stolen, however we did find two keys; an axxess 14r2 key and a ilca. Also on the keychain was a small black and blue device in a box shape. No wording or dating on that, but it did have a button. It‘s a trailblazer 2005. We push the car alarm buttons and lights blink on dash and flash outside, but no noise. How do we insilence it? Thanks!

Answer:

get someone to help you its a pain.
Hi Julie, theres a reset button usually under the dash. Or check Alarm Owners Manual, for details, if no manual call some local car alarm install shops, tell them the type and they should know a quick fix. They might want to fix it, which would be Ok, if theres already been one break-in. If too expensive have a tiny blinking light installed around dash area, so it looks like theres an alarm, shouldnt be too expensive.Good Luck Sweetheart.
