Question:

how do i fix this? my windshield wipers make this terrible noise as i turn them on?

i just installed them

Answer:

Cold air in the intake makes the intake charge have more power since the colder air can hold more fuel than warmer air, like you would get from a usual intake arrangement.
Treat the windshield with Rainx. Makes the windshield slick.
Try cleaning the rubber blade with some rubbing alcohol and clean your windshield real good sometimes you get buildup on the windshield
1) Clean windscreen. 2) Clean the blades and make sure the whole blade is structurally secure and is properly connected to the wiper arm. 3) check the spring that pulls the wiper arm back is not rusted, seized, loose or generally not in proper condition. 4) grab the pivot points at the base of the blade and try to move them up and down and side to side. Is there excessive play? This would point to worn pivot bushing. Hopefully at some point you will find the cause. It is possible that it is none of the above and the wipers are simply crap.
Air intake is to feed air to the throttle body to be mixed in with the gas to make the car run. Every gas driven vehicle is operated by a gas-air mix. The ECM determines the ratio by receiving information from the oxygen sensors. The oxygen sensor tells the ECM if the vehicle is running too rich or too lean. Based on the information, the ECM adjusts the fuel ratio in the throttle body.
