Question:

How do I get access to the windshield wiper transmission on my 1982 Mercedes Benz 380 SL (Model 107)?

I need to get access to my windshield wiper transmission to replace it as it has stopped working but I cannot for the life of me find a way to get access to the system. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Answer:

They are cheap for a reason. If you can afford better, I would go with a better tire. They will not offer the grip that you most likely are accustom to.
Your tires is all you have between your motorcycle and the pavement. Buy the best you can afford. I use Avon.
I am sure there is a MERCEDES BENZ FORUM on THE WEB, why not RESEARCH!?!?!?
AS far as research goes I can't find a manual in the auto shops around here. They say it is too old. I searched online researching for 45 minutes and came up with nothing so I came here. Not being lazy just trying to not give up and have to pay 300 bucks to someone else to do something I can do if i can find the knowledge.
1. Open hood 2. Take off wipers 3. detach hose for wiper fluid 4. remove all clips on the cowl *black plastic cover on bottom of windshield* 5. taaaa dahhh its should be there in plane sight! Good luck!
