Question:

how do I get dog hair off of a fabric couch?

it's just a little cheap fabric couch but it's all I have

Answer:

properly ,i favor to imagine of myself as someone who's in my precise innovations. besides the indisputable fact that, when I were given a canines i replaced into properly conscious that he shed, drooled and did all kinds of alternative domestic dog issues that some human beings discover gross. If i did not favor to address it, i'd not are turning out to be a canines. Why did you get a canines in case you weren't prepared to address this stuff? truly, i do not get it. My 100lb lab is fortunately drowsing on his mattress contained in the abode. i'm properly conscious that he's a canines and in no way a human. Labs are social canines and absolutely are extremely depressing being kept break away their kinfolk. So perhaps the precedence is that you probably did not do the research on breeds before bringing one abode. and that i happen to trust the different poster who reported that your washer is the precedence. If it gained't get fur off of sheets and blankets, you want to get it fixed. yet no, you're likely precise...locking the canines outdoors for something of their lives is a a lot more beneficial option. Get a lint roller.
This removes fluff from clothes so it will also work on your couch since it is fabric. Good luck
depending what kind of fabric a slicker brush can be very helpful at getting up some dog hair that does not come off easily with a vacuum cleaner w/ upholstery attachment.
I had a couch that was covered in fur I vacuumed(multiple times) then used those sticky roller things that you use for lint and steam cleaned. This took off most of the fur BUT after hours and hours of cleaning there is still fur on the couch. There is unfortunately no way to get fur out of fabric on a couch completely. After you clean it you could get a couch cover at least that can be taken off and washed in a washing machine. If you want to keep the fur down I suggest brushing your pet daily and get something like the furminator to take the under coat that is shedding off. Note: I was in your same situation and unfortunately the best thing to do is get a cover its not super expensive and you can get one on OKorder cheap.
Most vacuum cleaners have an upholstery attachment that you can put on the hose and use on the couch or other upholstered items. The Kong Zoom Groom or other rubber de-shedding tools like mitts work really well on fabric too. In the future, you may want to train the dog to stay oof the furniture, block his access to it or cover the furniture with a blanket/sheet/petcover to prevent hair from getting on the upholstery in the first place.
