I have fine, stick straight hair that does nothing and this really works when I want to curl itUse a heat activated styling sprayTwo I have used are ISO thermal set control heat activated styler (purchased at a salon) or Ogilvie Temps heat activated curling spray(purchased at a beauty supply store) and a curling ironTake a small section of hair and lightly mist with the spray, curl with curling ironFollow this process for your whole headLet all the curls cool completely then flip your head and run your fingers through to soften the lookIt takes a while to do this (especially if you have long hair!) but the results are worth itI'm not sure how much of a difference it really makes, but my stylist recommends using a ceramic curling iron to reduce damage to your hair.
