my cat pee d on my sofa and i tried natures miracle but it still smells how can i get that smell out?
With two cats in the family I've dealt with the removal of accidents like yours several times. First of all, if the upholstery has a zipper and the cover can be removed, you're in good shape. If there's no zipper, I would check for a seam on the back side and carefully cut the threads until you can remove it enough to get to the underlying stain. You can attack to pee much more agressively in the padding without worring about causing permanent damage to your sofa. I would flush the area with a mixture of 2 cups of warm water and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. Once this has thoroughly dried spray it with an enzyme cleaner that you can buy at PetSmart like Pet 'Oops' Remover or Stain Gobbler. This will neutralize the urine.

Next, I used a bristled brush to really rub the mixture into the sofa. I let it dry overnight and vacuumed the next day. Granted, the sofa is off-white, so the paste did not stain. Finally. I sprayed FABREZE on the area just for good measure. It passed my sensitive nose test! Good luck!!!!!! It is not fun to deal with!
The odor isn't just on the surface of the couch - it's probably way down in the padding. You can try using *lots* of Nature's Miracle, and let it soak all the way into the cushion. If that doesn't work, there's probably not much you can do aside from reupholstering or replacing the sofa.
Following these steps and using that product or the Out will break the ammonia molecules that causes the odor, and will eliminate the molecules so the cat won't think that area is acceptable. Don't hurt the cat. Provide a litter box and keep it clean. If kitty even looks like he's going to go on the couch again, I know I'm going to hear about this in the forum, but I give a loud shrill scream. It doesn't hurt the cat and it works.
