Question:

How do i hook up my lcd monitor to my computer (e- machines, if it makes a difference)?

I dont know much about computers so please help me. I just got a lcd monitor and i am planning to hook it up to my computer which is an e- machines computer. All i see on the back of the lcd monitor is a wire which is connected to the s-video port and the other side which is round headed, is hanging freely. I have searched for places on my cpu to connected the free head to but i can't find it. So if you have any other solution or if i am doing anything wrong PLEASE HELP ME. Thank you very much for your time.

Answer:

I have a KDS K-2626. It's a 26 widescreen monitor, and my current resolution is 1920x1080. Looks Works great!
need further clarification. there should be a VGA port that plugs in. also could be DVI or could be HDMI but given your situation i highly doubt that. s video seems unlikely as well. please locate vga port and cable and connect
You need a normal computer power cord then you plug the round plug into it.
