Question:

How do I make a separate layer INSIDE of a cake?

So if I wanted to make a red inside, and a layer of white cake around the red, on top bottom and sides, how would I do that? Red velvet inside, and vanilla outside for example.

cut a strip of foil twice the height of the panfold and seam together, stand in pan and put the red batter in it or white outsidepull the strip out gentlymake 2 more layers of just white if you want that red bit in the middleI would take about 1 cup of the batter and color it red, Put a white layer on cake plate, striped layer on next, then another white layerAll will be fairly thinI have a metal divider thing that goes into the layer pansIt has 2 ringsI can make checkerboard or striped or whatever.
