Question:

How do I make my hamsters wheel quieter?

I have an aquarium habitatat so tubes are not good. Thanks!

Answer:

Try putting a drop of vegetable oil on the wheel spoke hinge to lube it. Greasing the connection might quiet things down. It's also not toxic to your pet.
I use vegetable oil on the hinges, it makes it quieter and is safe if they lick it
I used butter on my sugar glider wheel. It use to drive me nuts. The only down side is you have to do it every 3 days because those little buggers would lick it all off.
put some oil on it to stop the sqeaking and the oil also help the wheel run smoother
