If the laptop came preinstalled with Windows, pressing F5 or F10 not sure which at the same time as you would push F8 to open safe mode will open the recovery console I believe. This should mean that you will be guided through a process detaling how to recover your laptop. Don't be put off by the DOS resembling interface. PLEASE READ: I will not accept responsibility if this goes wrong. It worked on my laptop with Windows and this may/may not be the case with you. Good Luck gamer2409
I'm not much of a computer whiz, but I will try. I'm guessing you want to set your computer back to factory settings? I have an acer laptop and when my computer first starts up I hit alt +F10 simultaneously and it will take me to the recovery menu. We also have an hp desktop in our home and if we want to do a system recovery we can hit F8 when it starts up and it gives some recovery options to choose from. Also if you go to your computer brand's website. There is usually a help link that will answer questions or look in your computer manual. On my computer there's also a manual icon on my desktop.
call your computer brand .. and they will give you certain things to press when you first turn on your comp and it will do a system recovery .. takes 10-30 min depending on how much junk's in your laptop..
