Question:

how do i put a bathroom sink?

My bathroom sink keeps leaking can someone telll me how to put a facet and plumbing in and what do i put where?

Answer:

I assume you mean the faucet is dripping? It might just need a new washer or cartridge. Your best bet is to go to your public library and find a do-it-yourself plumbing book. It will have full details including pictures or diagrams.
You need to first say what is leaking: the faucet itself or the sinkbowl around the drain. It might be good to get yourself a beginner plumbers book at Lowe's or Home Depot. If you have too much trouble just go to Lowe's and explain the problem you are having to one of them. Normally they have at least one person there that is fairly knowledgable regarding the subject you ask about.
oh man....first of all, i don't know if you want to replace your sink or your fixtures or both? to remove the sink you will have to remove all the fixtures first. this can be simple to difficult depnding on tools you have, level of expertise, AND age and type of connections used. the sink itself is probably held in place by a series of small clamps connected to counter top and sink. as well as the drain pipes. unscrew clamps, disconnect drain, and it will pop right out. if you wanted to replace the old fixtures which is what i think you were saying, the best advice i can give you is to buy good grade new fixtures, then read and follow all directions. this would really be a wordy-confusing answer were i to try and describe what is actually a relatively easy fix. take your time, have patience, CUT THE WATER OFF, and you can do this thing. AND also while you are under there, go ahead and replace the old drain lines too; pee trap and all of that old plumbing. i would even put new shut offs in, but thats up to you. gl with it!
I just did that. Call a plumber! 1st, turn off the water then unhook the faucet from the hoses. Pull the sink out and replace it with a new sink, make sure the new sink fits the hole already cut. Caulk it and let it dry for 24hrs, then put the new faucet on and connect to the hoses. Instructions are in the faucet box. Trust me, call a plumber or have someone help you.
