I have a 95 camaro. It is obd1 but it has a 16 pin connector. I tried the paper clip thin on spots 5 and 6 but it didnt flash any codes? can anyone help me?
94 and 95 cars that are equipped with the 16 pin OBD2 style connector have built in +12v power coming off of pin 16 and ground coming off of pin 5. The 8192 baud serial data comes off of pin 9 in these connectors. but most likely you'll have to take it to like autozone or your mechanic to have it read
