Question:

How do I remove epoxy paint from my leather sofa?

I guess I got some on me after painting the basement floor on decided to sit down. I tried to use some pledge but it didn't work.

Answer:

turtle wax makes it but its called power out professional strength its in a red and yellow can..it works for everything
Moisuriser, the type you place on your face, and cotton wool, works, have had to do it myself with blue gloss on a black leather-based settee.Rub it in nicely with cotton wool you will see it start to melt and improve, might take some tries even yet it does pop out, then wash settee with soapy water and varnish with pledge and a comfortable fabric.
So, here's what I'd do: Wait for the paint to dry completely. I *would not* try to use any solvents or abrasives to remove the stuff from leather. At best you'll soften the paint and spread it out of a larger area of the sofa. At worst, you'll ruin the leather. When the paint is dry, press down on it with a finger. It should crack the paint. Now remove it with your fingernails or a plastic scraper. If there are tiny paint specks on the sofa the scraper is the way to go. Good luck with this.
Rub a lamp!!!
