Question:

how do I replace water pump so that water will be dispensed from refrigerator?

Water dispenser in refrigerator has stopped working, how do I replace pump?

Answer:

The water supply is connected to a solenoid valve on the back or under the refrigerator. The valve is controlled by a timer. This timer lets water in through the solenoid valve to fill tray, and then shut supply off, it also supplies power to a motor to dump the tray once the water freezes.
There is no water pump to replace. The line is probably frozen and you needs to thaw out.
There is no pump in the fridge. Water is propelled by pressure before it gets to the fridge.
Replacing parts in a refrigerator water dispenser is fairly straightforward. If you have to ASK how to do it, you need to ask someone to SHOW you how. As others have stated, there is no actual pump in the refrigerator. Water pressure from the supply line is more than sufficient.
