how do i wire my pool pump?

I have 2 wires coming up a conduit. i need to put those wires into a timer and then to my pump. can anyone explain or has a website with diagrams

I agree entire heartedly with Tatimspas and that guy that reported to apply the white twine is fortunate he hasnt harm or perhaps killed somebody(possibly he has who knows). You woulnt have faith how many properties i'm going into and locate basically that top subject inflicting a sink or perhaps bathtub to alter into energized
The timer is just like a light switch, The hot from the power source (black wire) goes to one side of the timer. From the other side of the time it takes a wire to go to the pump. The white (neutral) goes from the power source to the pump. Provided this is 120 volts.
With only 2 wires exiting the conduit, I can say with absolute certainty that you cannot wire this to code with what you have. Please hire an electrician to do this. There are rules and regulations for a reason, - to keep you safe, and this is NOT safe no matter how you slice it. I see no mention of either ground wire or bonding wire and they are both required for pools and pool motors. Al
